Travel Nurse (RN) - Step Down Unit

OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center is Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma Center.

Required Skills/Experience: Strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or willingness to work with difficult cases. Will not accept OR candidates.

Preferred Skills/Experience: ENT and/or transplant experience preferred. Preceptor and charge experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.

Unit Details: Mixed med/surg and stepdown transplant floor caring for post-surgical kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients, plus pre-transplant patients undergoing inpatient evaluation. Patients require close monitoring for infection, rejection, and timely medication delivery. Not a PACU position. Nurses may work either med/surg or stepdown patients depending on unit needs.

Floating Requirements: Travelers will be first to float.
