Travel Nurse (RN) - PCU Float Pool

Required Skills/Experience:

• IV start
• Telemetry
• 1 year of solid step-down/PCU experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous charge experience preferred

Required Credentials:

• Education must be from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program.

Special Requests:

• Cannot apply to any Ohio State University facilities if you have an active application to any of the James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities.

Unit Details:

• Step-down/PCU-type patients
• Adult and geriatric patients with all diagnoses
• Agency staff have the following parking permit options (purchased through CampusParc at osu.campusparc.com):
• WMC Agency Permit (Most Convenient Option): 24/7 access to Wexner Medical Center Garage (guaranteed availability); $215.20/month; $716.62 per 100-day permit
• WB Permit (Budget Option): Weekend/holiday access to 9th Ave East & West Garages; 24/7 access to West Campus surface lots (WB/WC spaces); Shuttle service provided to the medical center; $15.67/month
• CXS Permit: Weekend/holiday access to 9th Ave East & West Garages; 24/7 access to Buckeye (CX) and West Campus surface lots; $31.42/month

Shift & Scheduling:

• Self-scheduling
• Weekend shifts will be assigned according to unit staffing needs

Floating Requirements:

• Possibly float to any stepdown/PCU area
• Potential to float to other campuses: Ross Heart, Brain & Spine, and Dodd
• Could be required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
