Travel Nurse (RN) - Neurologic Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Strong neuro skills required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Neuro ICU work history preferred; formal Neuro ICU work history not required.
• Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:

• Adult and geriatric patient population.
• Bedside placement of EVD, subdural drain, lumbar drain, and ICP monitor; continuous EEG monitoring; CRRT; frequent neuro and neurovascular checks.
• Cares for ischemic/hemorrhagic CVA, ICH, SAH, TBI, cerebral aneurysm, cerebral AVM, IPH, brain tumor, hydrocephalus, cerebral edema, SDH, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Will accept 3x12s or 4x12s.
• Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:

• Floating to ICU, TCU/PCU and all hospital care areas to care for patients within scope, including the ED to care for admitted ICU and TCU/PCU holds.
