Additional Details:
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Community hospital experience is required. Needs to be able to work in an OR suite during C-section.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Required Credentials: NCC EFM accepted in lieu of AWHONN Advanced. Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.
Unit Details: Neonate, adolescent, and adult patient population. High-risk pregnancy monitoring, fetal heart monitoring, C-sections, and vaginal deliveries. Can work antepartum, intrapartum, and triage; circulate vag / C/S; work through PACU (general regional anesthesia) and interop (pre, inter, post CS, emergency D&C, or emergent hyst with additional staff for emergent events outside of C/S). Serves celebrity population, so privacy is extremely important.
Shift & Scheduling: No on-call required. Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Will float to postpartum if needed. Postpartum only if not enough perinatal RNs. Can do postpartum couplet care (newborn and maternal) and newborn role in delivery; bonus if able to do more.
