Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Resume: Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and teaching facility. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Special Requests:

• Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
• At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
• Permanent address must be more than 80 miles from the facility.
• Must be at least 6 months removed from prior Sanford Health employment.
• Must take a full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well.

Unit Details:

• Covers CV, Neuro, General, Ortho, Plastics, OB/GYN, Robotic, ENT, and Urology cases, including orthopedic procedures such as Knee and Hip Arthroplasties, Shoulder and Knee Arthroscopies, Open reduction internal fixation of all bones, Hip Nailing procedures, ACL repairs, Carpal Tunnel Releases, and Tendon repairs.
• Uses Zimmer/Biomet, Synthes, and Arthrex equipment for orthopedic procedures.
• Vendors are usually in the room for most orthopedic procedures.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Mon-Fri.
• Call once a week, and every 5-6 weekends.

Floating Requirements:

• Required to work at the main hospital surgery center and the outpatient surgery center across the street.
