Required Skills/Experience:
Need to have at least 3 months of Home Health experience (will accept internship experience for this).
First-time travelers not accepted.
Special Requests:
Driver's license, vehicle, and insurance required.
RTO requests may be approved.
Unit Details:
Home health-based position covering parts of Anson and Union counties.
Caseload is based on a point system, typically 5-6 points per day.
Adult patients only, mostly geriatric.
Common diagnoses include CVA, TBI, dysphagia, apraxia, aphasia, speech and cognition impairment, and cancer.
Scope includes swallowing difficulties, swallow studies, developing and evaluating care plans, identifying aspiration risks, determining appropriate diet consistency, and patient/family education.
Uses laptop, phone, and tools for visits.
Shift & Scheduling:
Monday-Friday schedule.
No weekend rotation.
No call.
No holiday expectations.
