Required Credentials:
Any hit on your license must be disclosed. Hits will be sent to UVA leadership for approval prior to proceeding.
Special Requests:
Travelers are not eligible to return after reaching 365 total assignment days, regardless of time away.
Unit Details:
Provides intensive management for life-threatening neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.
Cases typically seen include central nervous system tumors, complex spine surgery, acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, neuro-endovascular interventions, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, neuromuscular diseases, status epilepticus, and central nervous system infections.
Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Every other weekend and every other holiday.
Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays.
40 hours of time off can be approved.
