Additional Information
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Clinicians who live within 51-75 miles from the facility will be considered local.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Special Requests:
The ability to work at Client’s assigned work location throughout the full term of the contractual engagement is required.
Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.
The ability to take call is required.
The ability to work assigned weekends is required.
The ability to work at least 50 percent of the holidays that occur during the contract is required.
Unit Details:
The patient population includes pediatric patients, including infants and adolescents.
Staffing is 1:2 on days and nights and 1:1 on weekends.
The PICU receives patients with diagnoses including respiratory illness, sepsis, postoperative surgical patients, hematology/oncology, renal transplant patients, and more.
