Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience: Trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation experience.
Required Credentials: TNCC must be from AHA.
Unit Details: Level 3 trauma center. Team nursing and pod system; social worker assigned to the department and unit educator. Patient ratios: 4:1 main ED and 6:1 Fast Track. Uses Zoll defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow blood warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and Istat POC, and ultrasound-guided IV. Patient population includes ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, and psychiatric patients. Common diagnoses/treatments include ESRD, substance use disorders, psychological disorders, COPD, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain.
Shift & Scheduling: Minimum of two weekends per schedule. No call.
