Additional Details:
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to. If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
Required Skills/Experience:
• Pre/post experience
• Peds experience
Preferred Skills/Experience: Floor nursing preferred but not needed.
Unit/Facility Details:
• Travelers cover both Phase 1 and Phase 2. PACU RNs also do PreOp.
• Nurse:Patient Ratios - 1:1 phase 1, 1:2 phase2, 1:3-5 pre-op
Shift & Scheduling:
• Rotating 2100-730am and 1100am-2130
• Weeknight/Call Requirements: 16-24 total hours of call required/month that is self scheduled by RN. Weekend/Call Requirements: For both weeknight and weekend combined.
• Holiday/Call Requirements: 8 hour summer holiday call required. Call response time is 1 hour.
