Travel Allied (Neurodiagnostic Technician) - Polysomnography

Required Credentials:

• Associate's degree from an Accredited School in Polysomnography.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous experience in Sleep Medicine.

Unit Details:

• Performs polysomnographic diagnostic testing.
• Reviews patient information and verifies study orders.
• Explains setup and testing protocols to patients/caregivers.
• Closely monitors patients for clinical and physiological events to obtain required sleep/wake data.
• Performs titration and split night studies in accordance with policy and/or physician orders.
• Scores studies in accordance with AASM scoring manual guidelines.
• Notifies the Medical Director, Physician Assistant, and/or Clinical Manager of adverse changes in patient condition or unusual situations during the sleep study.
