Required Skills/Experience:
A current, experienced wound care/ostomy nurse with at least 2 years of experience is required.
Skill set must include all types of surgical and traumatic wounds.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
1-2 travel assignments are preferred.
Unit Details:
The role includes assessment, treatment, and management of complex wounds and ostomies; various dressing changes; wound vacs and wound vac dressings; and accurate assessment, measurement, and classification of wounds and related skin conditions.
Patient teaching is part of the role.
Shift & Scheduling:
Monday-Friday; no weekends, no call, or holidays.
