Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience: De-escalation training preferred.
Required Credentials: Therapeutic Options certification must be kept up to date.
Unit Details: Adult psychiatric/behavioral health patient population. Responsibilities include participation in patient care planning and weekly clinical staffing/treatment plan review, medication education for patients and families, monitoring and documenting emotional and mental status, leading teaching and educational groups, and training LPNs and MHTs in charting, vital signs, patient routines, and de-escalation techniques.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends as needed. No call.
Previous Employment Requirements: Former direct facility employees are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after the end of direct employment.
