Unit Details:
Patient population includes adult and pediatric cardiac patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Duties include supervising stress tests, starting IVs, administering cardiac medications during testing, reviewing patient histories and medications, entering information into Case Cart, responding to emergencies, assessing patients before testing, and collaborating closely with Nuclear Medicine, Echo, the PFT Lab, cardiology fellows, and cardiologists.
The unit averages 18-25 cases per day.
Equipment includes GE Case Carts, treadmills, and Tango BP machines.
Shift & Scheduling:
No call or standby requirement.
