Unit Details:
- Patient ratios - Day shift 5:1 (6:1 stretch); night shift 6:1 (7:1 stretch).
- Type of equipment - Walkers, bedside commode, bladder scanners, CPM, sky lifts, Sara Stedy, Sara Lift, Maxi Move, vital sign machine, hover mat, bair hugger, and wheelchairs.
- Typical procedures performed on unit(s): dressing changes, suture/staple removal, Foley catheter, NG tubes, wound vac maintenance and removal.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements:
- Floating area(s): other Med-Surg units.
