Travel Nurse (RN) - Oncology Clinic

Required Skills/Experience:

• Two (2) or more years staff RN experience in ambulatory oncology (not including travel assignments)
• Must have inpatient chemotherapy administration experience
• General ambulatory clinic experience required
• Must be comfortable mixing IV medications and performing dose calculations

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Queen's Health System traveler experience preferred

Special Requests:

• Candidates with no RTO preferred

Unit Details:

• Ambulatory nursing role that includes care of non-oncology patients
• At times, the oncology RN will mix chemotherapeutic agents to be administered after counter checking with another RN
• Critical access hospital setting

Shift & Scheduling:

• Monday through Friday
• Holidays as required
• 32-hour contract available if desired

Floating Requirements:

• If not needed on the assigned or similar unit as an RN, may be assigned as a nursing assistant or safety sitter
