Additional Details:
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Chemo certification must be ONS or ONCC.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population with GU cancer (kidney, bladder, prostate, testicular), hematology (lymphoma, multiple myeloma, CLL), and sarcoma. Unit is open Monday-Friday, 730am-8pm. GU, hematology, and sarcoma exam clinics are located in the building with providers on-site. Lab, blood bank, and pharmacy are located in the building. Charge nurse is out of staffing, with an average of 2 nurses out of staffing and available to help nurses on the unit. Nurses care for 6-7 patients per shift, with only 3 patients at a given time.
Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday. No weekends or holidays.
Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Cannot apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any Ohio State University facility.
