Required Skills/Experience: 1 year pediatric experience required. Must be comfortable with both adult and pediatric patients.
Special Requests: RTOs for Thanksgiving and Christmas will not be acceptable.
Unit Details: Adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients. Ratios: Non-Covid typically 4:1, max 5:1; Covid patients typically 2:1, max 3:1. May be assigned to help cover flu immunization clinics as needed.
Shift & Scheduling: Typical schedule is 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next, plus up to 1 on-call shift per week. Must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. 15-minute call response time for all units with a call requirement.
Floating Requirements: Occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work. This could include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or task-oriented support such as answering call lights and phones.
