Travel Nurse (RN) - Nurse Management

All Travelers report to Geneva General Hospital for orientation.

Required Skills/Experience:
1 year of nursing experience in long-term care required.
Supervisor or clinical lead experience over multiple units (not just charge experience) required.
Familiarity with New York State Department of Health requirements required.

Required Credentials:
Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing.

Special Requests:
RTO must be submitted with application for approval. Holiday RTO is not guaranteed.

Unit Details:
Oversees nursing operations across multiple nursing units and provides clinical supervision to staff.
Provides quality resident care through staff teaching and supervision.
Off-hours contact with the Director of Nursing is limited to critical issues requiring resolution; other items are communicated at work.
Makes administrative decisions off-shift/weekends within the identified scope when the Director of Nursing and LTC Administrator are absent.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend and holiday minimum coverage are required.

Floating Requirements:
Must be willing to float at Finger Lakes Health facilities only.
