Required Skills/Experience: Adult patient population experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Ortho and neuro preferred but not required.
Special Requests: If you are working per diem at a Kindred facility, you need to wait 6 months after your last shift to apply as a traveler. If you are a full-time employee with a Kindred facility, you need to wait 12 months to apply as a traveler.
Unit Details: Inpatient rehabilitation program for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. Adult and geriatric patient population, including Neuro-CVA. Common diagnosis/treatment: CVA, amputee, ortho. Low-stimulation secured unit with monitored rooms, specialized beds, patient lifts, a dedicated therapy gym, and dining area. Uses standard rehab equipment, Ekso NR, REAL VR, UDS ProDoc, InMotion Robotic Arm, and a therapy car. Special apartments are available for practicing daily living tasks.
