Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- First time travelers must have 2 years of perm staff RN experience in acute care.
- Skills: NGT tube insertion, IV starts, chest tube management, defibrillation, splinting, Stroke/NIHSS experience, ICU gtt management
Required Credentials:
- MOAB accepted in place of CPI.
- Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival (includes MedSurg RN).
Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Free in designated areas
Shift & Scheduling:
- 7/7 schedule
- Weekend rotation: every other weekend
- Will work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week (this is mandatory)
- May work 3/2 or 5/2 rotations, for example: 2 on 2 off, 5 on, 5 off
- Holiday Expectations: will work 2/3 major holidays
Floating Requirements: Units: only to one of our other ED’s at neighboring facility (rare)
