Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years of experience preferred. Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.
Special Requests: 100-mile radius rule; no local candidates.
Unit Details: Responsible for medical necessity review, discharge planning, and utilization review. Identifies and communicates changes in the patient's plan of care to the healthcare team. Maintains detailed knowledge of community resources and referral processes. Uses LOS to anticipate patient needs, support stewardship of resources, and transition patients to an alternative level of care in a timely manner. Documents in the patient record consistently and in a timely manner, including initial screenings and discharge plans. Adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population.
