Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Hospital setting experience required
- Assists with performing circulator skills and tasks
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Ortho, robotic, urology, general and vascular experience preferred.
- One year health care experience (preferred)
Required Credentials:
- Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Surgical Assistant Association (NSAA), or National Commission for the Certification of Surgical Assistants (NCCSA) (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Completion of a Surgical Assistant Program (required)
Unit/Facility Details:
- Manager to conduct secondary interview following ITO clinical review
- Individuals in this position are required to exercise universal precautions, use personal protective equipment and devices, and learn the policies concerning infection control.
Shift & Scheduling: Call Details: 2-3 weekday overnight call shifts/2-3 weekend overnight call shifts in a 6-week period. Some short shifts are required. Holiday call required
