Required Credentials: Two-year degree in nursing required.
Preferred Credentials: Four-year degree in nursing preferred.
Unit Details: Timely communication to physicians and families of significant changes in resident condition. Complete all applicable resident assessments. Complete medication administration while following the 5 Rights. Perform wound care and assessments as needed. Assist CNAs with answering call lights. Monitor residents for changes in condition. Act as leader on the floor by assessing and directing situations as needed. Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator. Maintain accurate resident records with thorough and accurate charting.
Shift & Scheduling: Week one: Saturday & Sunday 1pm-10:30pm, Wednesday 1pm-10:30pm, Thursday 9pm-6:30am. Week two: Saturday & Sunday 6am-10:30pm, Wednesday 2pm-10:30pm, Friday 10pm-6:30am. Holiday coverage required.
