Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
Two (2) or more years of full-time staff experience as an SLP in an acute care setting prior to any travel assignments required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Prior FEES clinical experience; MBS ImP; adult swallowing, communication, and cognitive evaluation/treatment preferred.
Experience in comparable size/type medical center(s) (500+ beds) highly preferred.
Required Credentials:
Graduate of an accredited Speech/Language Pathology program.
Completion of a FEES (Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow) course.
Preferred Credentials:
Doctorate preferred.
Special Requests:
Parking on the Punchbowl campus is not approved; if the traveler elects to park on campus, it will be at the traveler's expense and can cost up to $50/day.
Parking at the Neal Blaisdell Center costs $7/day; with a Queen's-issued badge, the traveler can use the employee shuttle to and from Queen's/Blaisdell.
Parking at the West O'ahu campus costs $15/month and must be arranged through the West O'ahu HR department.
Time-off requests during the contract term are not allowed.
Shift & Scheduling:
Some weekends are required.
Holiday coverage is required.
