Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Transitional Care Unit

Additional Details:

OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center is Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma Center.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Clinicians should have strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or be willing to work with difficult cases.
• Cardiac unit with step-down experience required.
• Need candidates familiar with chest tubes, drips + half med/surg half step down.

Required Credentials:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• If a BSN degree is the highest level of education verify the graduation date and upload a copy of your diploma to your credentials.

Preferred Credentials:

• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.

Unit Details:

• Mixed cardiovascular floor: half med-surg, half step-down.
• Includes cardiac rehab, pre/post procedures, and cardiac stabilizations.

Floating Requirements:

• Travelers will be first to float.

Special Requests:

• May be asked to interpret EKG, monitor rhythms and rates, and collaborate with cardiac rehab, education, and discharge planning.
