Additional Information
Required skills/experience: Trained and worked in a dedicated Open-Heart Unit receiving patients directly from the OR. Current experience with recovery of post-op cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting, Vent, CRRT, Swan, Epicardial wires/pacemakers, vasoactive gtts titration, level 1 IABP, ECMO.
Preferred credentials: Critical Care Certification, trauma course
Shift & schedule requirements: A/P Rotation or straight PM. 36 or 48 hour/week assignments.
Unit and facility details: The Johns Hopkins Hospital Cardiovascular Surgical ICU (CVSICU/ Zayed 5 East) is a 18 bed unit that provides care for patients who are recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, the placement of ventricular assist devices, and other complex procedures.
