You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum 2 years MS/Tele/Neuro experience required.
Strong Neuro experience required.
Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, CVA, pre/post-neurosurgery, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries required.
Special Requests:
RTO <5 days is allowed; otherwise, time must be added to the end of the contract.
Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Patient population includes neuro/stroke cases, including CVA, laminectomy, post-craniotomy, and brain injury patients.
Unit cases include vascular surgeries, multilevel back surgeries, CABG, and ECMO.
Assignments include 4 stroke patients and 1 Med/Surg patient.
Shift & Scheduling:
Schedule options include alternating 3x12s and 4x12s every other week, or straight 4x12s.
At least 2 of 3 holidays are required.
No call.
Mardi Gras scheduling is discussed with the manager.
Floating Requirements:
You must be willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible.
