Travel Allied (Respiratory Therapist) - Respiratory Unit

Unit Details:

• Provides independent respiratory care diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical evaluation of care, and respiratory therapy modalities per protocol or physician order.
• Cares for geriatric, adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• Duties include ventilator management, nebulized medication therapy, oxygen therapy, specialty gas administration, chest physiotherapy, aerosol therapy, mist tent therapy, quality assurance and improvement, and charge capture review.
• Performs diagnostic procedures including 12-lead ECGs, simple pulmonary function testing, pulse oximetry, and assisting physicians with cardiac stress testing.
• Performs arterial and capillary punctures and assesses oxygenation, acid-base balance, ventilation, and metabolism.
• Participates in the Rapid Response Team.

Shift & Scheduling:

• On-call required.
• Holidays as required.
