Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Med/Surg or PCU experience.
Unit Details: Uses vitals machine, Baxter IV pumps, SCDs, and bladder scanner. Procedures performed on unit: med administration to include IVs, PICC, PEG tube administration; bladder scans, trach care, tube feeding, Foley cath, bladder irrigation, blood administration. Opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiatrist, physician assistant, and neuropsychologist to impact patient functional improvements and achieve patient goals for functional independence.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: May be floated to other Med Surg departments.
