Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Ability to perform Modified Barium Swallows. Must be able to jump in with little training. Acute inpatient hospital experience required
Required Credentials: Graduation from an accredited speech therapy program.
Unit Details: Inpatient hospital setting with adult patients ranging from MedSurg, ICU to strokes. Assesses referred patient. Plans and administers Speech Therapy intervention plan, schedules treatments, records treatment information, instructs students to assist in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients, provides instruction to patient, family and hospital staff.
