Travel Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• 1 year Tele, inpatient only; experience and competence in drug titration.

Special Requests:

• Block scheduling (no specific days) may be approved based on facility requirements.
• RTO must be made up on the back end.
• RTO will not be approved in the first week of assignment.
• Holiday RTO: can request only 1 per assignment.

Unit Details:

• Patient ratios: varies. Days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:7. Ratios are not guaranteed; careful consideration is given depending on the circumstance.
• Uses telemetry, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps.
• Patient population includes med or med-tele patients and developmental delays.
• Provides care for patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
• Weekends as required by facility.
• No call.
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week.

Floating Requirements:

• Will float on a rotational basis.

Details:
