References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: One year of MedSurg experience.
Required Credentials: Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam required during onboarding.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details: ED/MedSurg swing assignment. Ratios: 1 to 4 acute, 1 to 6 swing bed; ED is 1 to 4. RNs are required to titrate drips. Uses nebulizers, O2 via nasal cannula and mask; ventilator used only in the ED and for transport to another facility; may have CPAPs if a swing bed patient brings one in. RNs read telemetry strips in the ED.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday. Call/standby requirement: flex time.
Floating Requirements: First to float. Will float to ED holds if needed; may also work charge.
