Required Skills/Experience: Will take OR nurse who has endoscopy training/experience or sole focus on endoscopy.
Required Credentials: Centralus Core Competency Exam required; RNs complete Core Comp I, II, and III and must score 80% or higher. Driver's License/State ID
Special Requests: Canadian candidates must have a U.S. SSN to apply. Candidates holding a Canadian-issued license must submit proof of active TN visa status or documentation demonstrating eligibility for TN classification under the USMCA. Cannot consider travelers employed full-time, part-time, or per diem by Cayuga Health or its affiliate, Schuyler Hospital, within the past 12 months.
Unit Details: The GI RN works with Outpatients and Inpatients at both campuses and takes calls for Endoscopy. Will take OR nurse who has Endoscopy Training/ experience or sole focus on Endoscopy.
Shift & Scheduling: 0630 to 1500 or 0800 to 1630, variable. Takes call as needed, usually once a week and every 6th weekend, unless there are call offs or the clinician wants to pick up more. Call coverage may be switched with team members as needed if providers and the team/unit know when coverage is altered and no openings in coverage are created.
