Required Skills/Experience: 2 years recent ICU experience No monitor techs; RNs must be able to read and interpret their own telemetry strips.

Required Credentials: Must pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. Pass/fail open-book exam on Friday during orientation on skills learned; must receive 90% to pass.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submission.

Unit Details: Nurse-patient ratios: ICU 1:1-2, PCU 1:4-5, Med Surg 1:5-6. Adults and pediatric patients older than 15 years old. Common diagnoses include neurosurgery with thrombectomy program, respiratory failure, ARDS, MODS, sepsis, stroke, cardiogenic shock, renal failure, general surgery, psych/overdose, GI bleeds, and cancer-specific surgeries including esophagectomy and internal chemo administration. RNs titrate drips including vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics. Equipment and therapies include Impella, balloon pump, CRRT, CVPs, arterial lines, Swans, EV-1000, ICP monitoring, Zoll Thermoguard for hypothermia protocol, Bell Mont rapid transfuser, and Draeger heart monitoring with centralized telemetry monitoring. Fast-paced unit with volume flexes as the primary tertiary hospital for the system; collaborative team environment with attendings and student providers, including fellows and residents.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holiday requirements: 2 out of 3 major holidays or every other, as needed based on unit needs. Schedule is made by the manager based on unit needs.

Floating Requirements: Will float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU.
