References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Will consider blocked schedule based on unit needs. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Unit Details: Nurse:patient ratios 1:4-5, occasional 5-6 on nights, and 1:3 with PCU level care overflow. More of a tele/cardiac unit with adult and geriatric patients. Common cases include cardiac caths, EP studies, pacers, ETOH, Covid BiPAP, occasional general surgical patients with cardiac history, medical patients with cardiac history, pneumonia, acute on chronic conditions, influenza, and sepsis. RNs titrate Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, Lasix, and low-dose Dopamine drips; no Levo. Exposure to BiPAP, trachs, and Airvo. Tele portable monitors and in-room monitors; monitor tech at the nurses station.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday.

Floating Requirements: First to float. Floating to all areas as helping hands; full patient assignments on PCU and Med-Surg; some ER holds/boarding.
