Travel Allied (Pharmacist) - Pharmacy

Preferred Skills/Experience: Hospital experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.

Preferred Credentials: Doctor of Pharmacy preferred.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained. You may not concurrently work any other position or assignment while on contract at this facility. Candidates submitted must be fully available and committed to this single assignment. Travel pairs will not be considered.

Unit Details: Fills medication orders, monitors patient drug therapies, and provides drug information. Compounds and dispenses non-sterile and sterile products, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition. Includes ambulatory pharmaceutical care services under approved protocols and/or collaborative agreements, including managing patient drug therapy, anticoagulation management, patient education, transition of care, and discharge medication reconciliation. Assists with pharmacokinetics consult service and renal drug dosing per hospital protocol. Conducts clinical interventions including IV to PO conversion, renal dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing support, and anticoagulation. Participates in antibiotic stewardship, opioid stewardship, shortage management, and interdisciplinary rounds when assigned. Supervises pharmacy support personnel and verifies the daily activities of pharmacy technicians.

Shift & Scheduling: Varying shift options: 6:00am-2:30pm, 7:00am-3:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, 11:00am-7pm, and/or 3:00pm-11pm. Every other weekend: 2 x 10 hour shifts. No call.
