Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
Diagnostic cardiac cath lab and interventional cardiac cath lab skills are required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Electrophysiology lab, interventional radiology, pre/post-procedure, and special procedures are preferred.
Special Requests:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Please request RTO up front if possible.
Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Special procedures include cardiac cath and PCI, STEMI-designated hospital, vascular procedures, pacemaker and ICD implants, and complete pre/post care of all outpatients.
Uses Cupid and MacLab Hemodynamics.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend requirement: Traveler will participate in weekend call rotation.
Call requirement: 12-15 depending on staffing/vacations/etc.
Call required: equitable number of call days with permanent staff.
Travelers may be required to participate in holiday rotation.
Floating Requirements:
Floats within scope to other departments as needed when volumes are low, including pre-op, PACU, POST, IVR, and OR; the clinician will help with tasks rather than fully staff those departments.
