Required Skills/Experience: Proficiency in lab draws required.
Required Credentials: Must pass EKG exam at orientation.
Preferred Credentials: Critical Care Course preferred.
Special Requests: No blocked scheduling guaranteed (except possibly weekend block scheduling).
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric stepdown patients including cardiac, surgical, renal, and end-stage respiratory cases; continuous BiPAP. Cardiac drips and titrations, BiPAP, insulin drips, and cardiac rhythm management. Manages chest tubes, hemodynamic monitoring, transvenous or temporary pacing, conscious sedation, and advanced respiratory modalities. Uses Alaris pumps, PCA, GlucoStabilizer, bedside cardiac monitors, Hoyer lifts, and Sara Stedy lifts.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. 12-hour day shifts; required to work every other weekend and major holidays.
