Travel Nurse (RN) - Surgical Intensive Care Unit

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

• MICU and/or SICU experience required.
• Independent, competent ability to work with complex, high acuity medical and trauma/neuro/surgical ICU patients is required.
• Float pool-only experience does not meet requirements.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:

• Adolescent, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient population.
• Cares for comprehensive medical ICU patients including ARDS, AHRF, COPD, sepsis, cardiac surgery, and ECMO.
• Cares for surgical, trauma, and neurosurgical SICU patients including head injury, trauma, stroke, TBI, general surgery, and some pediatrics.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend needs will vary based on the needs of the unit.

Floating Requirements:

• Assignments to both MICU and surgical/trauma/neurosurgical SICU, primarily within the Critical Care Division; will float to other units as census needs.
