Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Required Skills/Experience:

• Strong ortho background required.
• Some endoscopy experience needed.

Special Requests:

• Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
• If previously employed at the facility, exceptions require approval by St. Luke's Health System.

Unit Details:

• Faster-paced OR with heavy ortho, sports medicine, and robotics case mix.
• Common cases include ortho total joints, sports medicine, hands and trauma, general, GYN, C-sections, and endoscopy.
• RNs do not scrub.
• All OR personnel help clean and turn over OR rooms.
• Uses TDOC to track instruments and ProVation for endoscopy.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Mon-Fri. Shift times may adjust as needed.
• Call starts at 1530 until 0700 the next morning, typically 4 weeknights per month; call frequency will increase if staffing decreases.
• Typically 1 full weekend of call per month, 0700 Sat-0700 Monday.
• If there is a holiday during the contract, you may be assigned holiday call.
• Must be within 30 minutes of the hospital while on-call.

Floating Requirements:

• The OR team covers endoscopy.
