Required Credentials:

• HS diploma/GED
• Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College based Radiography program.

Unit Details:

• Monitors patients before and after contrast injections and reports any sudden change to the nursing staff and Radiologist.
• Can begin emergency response in case of complication.
• When assigned as Point, triages procedures according to the daily schedule and ensures timely coordination of all emergency and unscheduled procedure requests.
• Maintains QA/QC requirements for daily, monthly & ACR specifications and adheres to venipuncture and power injector protocols.
• For Code Grey, Trauma and Partial Trauma cases, images are acquired, processed, sent and verified/completed in PACS / RIS system per established protocol; notifies the radiologist as Code Grey images are being sent and of any unusual findings.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Wed-Sat.
• No holidays.
• On-call required.
• No OT.
