Additional Details:
Required Credentials: Degree or certificate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education accredited sonography program required
Unit Details: Performs cardiac ultrasound procedures independently for interpretation by cardiologists or radiologists. Assists cardiologists or other physicians during invasive ultrasound procedures.
Shift & Scheduling: 40 contract hours per week. 1 week of on-call is scheduled approximately every 5th or 6th week. One hospital holiday each year, rotating year to year. On-call and holiday shifts may be switched with other echo techs with supervisor approval. Must be available to work every other weekend if requested by the department manager or supervisor.
