Travel Nurse (RN) - PCU Float Pool

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years Level 1 Trauma acute hospital experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips.
• Must have Level 1 Trauma experience in a 500-bed facility or larger.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 2 years of travel experience preferred.
• Prior Float Pool experience will set the traveler up for success.

Special Requests:

• Travel pairs are not accepted.

Unit Details:

• Patient ratios are typically 1:4 on days, with the possibility of 1:5 when stretched, and 1:5 on nights, with the possibility of 1:6 when stretched.
• Equipment includes Abbott Plum pumps.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend hours: 36 unless otherwise noted; travelers will be scheduled on weekends, but the amount will fluctuate based on unit need.
• No call.

Floating Requirements:

• Staff float every shift to all medical, surgical, and cardiology units within MMC.
