Required Skills/Experience:
Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Ventilator management.
Critical care drip knowledge.
Donning and doffing PPE.
Unit Details:
Cares for ICU patients with COVID-19.
Unit procedures include intubations, cardioversions, ventriculostomy drain placement and management, IABP management, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and proning of patients.
Equipment includes ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, balloon pumps, ventriculostomy drains, and glucometers.
PPE includes masks, face shields, goggles, PAPRs, and hoods for COVID-19 patients.
Uses iMobile phones.
Uses Evidence-Based Clinical Documentation (EBCD).
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
Self-scheduling is available within certain guidelines.
Floating Requirements:
Nursing staff will float to other medical-surgical units in the hospital as needed, with priority focus on pulling to intensive care units.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
