Additional Details:

Failed fit tests due to facial hair and the inability to shave automatically disqualifies clinician from proceeding.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must be able to work independently in the emergency room with trauma patients. Peds experience. Portables .
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care facility.
• OR experience required.

Required Credentials:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Completion of clinical and A.R.R.T. requirements.

Unit Details:

• Performs diagnostic radiographic exams, including portable x-ray exams in patient rooms, the operating room, and the emergency room.
• Prepares radiopaque contrast media and assists physicians with administration.
• Includes scheduling appointments, patient instruction, film filing, record maintenance, and patient reception duties.
• Includes portable exams and pediatric patients.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required.
• 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM highly preferred; open to 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.
• Every 3rd weekend. Holiday required. No on-call.
