Required Skills/Experience:
- Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.
Unit Details:
- Outpatient role evaluating and treating patients with lymphedema or related conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home management and prevention.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Mon-Fri.
- No call.
Required Credentials:
- Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist
- Certification in lymphedema therapy from an accredited program (e.g., CLT or equivalent) or extensive experience treating lymphedema patients.
- Complete decongestive therapy (CDT), including manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), compression bandaging and garment fitting, therapeutic exercises, and skin care education.
