Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials: Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; covers HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics, minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed, updated every 3 years. Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, 2 attempts allowed, updated every 3 years. Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed, updated every 3 years. Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. In order to receive travel rate, clinician's claimed residence must match the address on the driver's license.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.

Floating Requirements: May have to float to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita.
