Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Permanent candidates from other Providence facilities, excluding Swedish, are eligible for a travel contract only if they have been separated for at least 3 months. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details: Adult, adolescent, and infant patient population. Labor and preterm labor patients. Circulate, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, scrub, low risk antepartum, and low risk LD. Blood/blood products administration; cardioversion/defibrillation; cooling/warming blanket; drains; epidural pumps; PCA pumps; syringe pumps; wound vac; heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate. Attends all deliveries and high-risk deliveries; GYN surgeries; couplet care; low risk antepartum; transition nursery.

Floating Requirements: Float to Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set.
