Required Skills/Experience:
- Previous hospital experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Advanced skills preferred: Vancomycin AUC dosing experience, aminoglycoside dosing, renal dosing, warfarin, enoxaparin, electrolyte protocols, heparin, and DOAC.
Unit Details:
- Complex patients include trauma, burn, critical care, pediatrics, cardiac surgery, and ECMO cases.
- Uses Dose Edge for IV operations, Vigilanz, Pyxis, and C2 Safe.
- Procedures include IV verification, medication verification, and IV compounding as needed.
- Clinical resources include Sanford Guide, ClinicalKey, UpToDate, Vanc AUC Calculator, Neofax, Briggs, and Lexicomp.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Shift options include nights 2030-0700 and evenings 1430 - 0100.
